Chris is right,there is a difference between the Saginaw vs. Muncie rod.
Both 1969-70 Chevelles shared the #2889 rod. They only repop the later 1971 issued Chevelle/Muncie #3931438 lockout rod included in a kit,but I don't see it sold seperately so I think you have to buy all the linkage rods that go along with it for $120.00 through Modern Chevrolet. Try contacting our sponsor too,D&R Classic,as they sell the Camaro muncie repop lockout rod seperately for $25.00.They might know how to obtain the single #2889 Chevelle/Muncie reverse lockout rod if it's out there. That's the Lower reverse lock out rod,part #3955776.
It goes from the frame mounted idler lever to the 1st-Rev lever on a Manual trans. Specifically used on 1969 Camaro BB 4spd. only.

My memory is fair at best, and it was July when I started looking for this rod. But I remember contacting you about the rod and you told me you had a few of them but you weren't sure about selling them. Good luck with your ebay sale, I'm still looking for one.
