Thanxs for the great old clips. I remember as if it were yesterday when these beauties were brand new. What a fun time it was. I especially love the 1971 W-30 ragtop 4spd car. Pretty neat also seeing the 68 HO motoring through those pylons. ![]() ![]() |

I reloaded the 1969 Mustang 428 Cobra Jet road test, with the correct title.
I have a personal fondness for the boattail Buicks. Here's a 1972 Buick Riviera GS. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l8ZJ2zW9poI Also added a test of a 1971 Torino GT 429. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WYAVTlVnQyk ![]()

[ QUOTE ]
1969 Charger 500, with the 426 Hemi https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yUgWMl4ftdc ![]() [/ QUOTE ] "Body roll was not excessive." -I guess touching your door handles to the pavement in a turn was the norm back then. And the kids today think that drifting was invented by the Japanese recently! Just watch this clip and you'll see where drifting came from. We called it "good handling" back then. ![]() |
