Those are neat accessory items for sure, but i can almost guarantee nothing like that was ever factory installed... I think the extenders he's looking for are something different. The idea of the extenders being used to help the valve stem pass through the trim ring makes sense.

I remember them - as a black plastic extender, about 1 1/2" long with a rounded metal covering on the tip. Very similar to the look of the on the wheel tire gauge, but not as thick. I'll have to dig to see if I have any.

Thanks guys ....I think Dog has what I need to look for. The ones they sell now days have a White plastic insert. I used to see them on GM cars of the 80s and 90s on the spoked hubcaps. Never seen the metal insert ones until your pic. Thanks again for the responses.
