https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mN7Xs...mp;feature=fvw Here it is.....a small snippet of a Stick City radio commercial and a picture of their sign. It's at the very end of this this Beach Boys' "I Get Around" video. You can fast forward thru the song and get to it or just listen to the whole thing....it's always been a great song anyway!

The "Stick City" that I knew of was on Whittier Blvd...which was in Whittier. We used to cruise up Beach Blvd (Hwy 39)from Anaheim to go and check out what they had.

I don't know if they had a location in Glendale at some point?

Found on the HAMB... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/a.../t-101275.html

I remember cruising down to Stick City and on the way home we'd stop by "Sticks Unlimited" on Colorado Blvd. in Pasadena. Anyone recall that one? There was a convertible Corvette funny cay body on the roof of the office and it said Gene Conway's Sticks unlimited! cool. Here's a link to Funny Cars from the past with the Sticks Unlimited Corvette among many famous race cars...

South Brand would be in Glendale, CA and this dealership is probably next-door to Alan Gwynn Chevrolet, where my '67 RS/SS 396 was sold new. AND, there's a bumperless '55 parked at far right! I have a bumperless '55 so this is a double-cool picture!
