I must be lucky, because I've stayed there every year since the Reunion moved to Collinsville and have never had a problem... Anyone complaining about the rooms must not be staying out in the parking lot late enough....

I can relate! I think I may have spent a total of six hours in the room three years ago (over a three night stay). Late night Thursday, then Hawaiian Jeff & I were cruising the parking lot again at 6:30 Friday morning.............. and we weren't the first ones there! We run on adrenaline during the SCR.

Seriously! I mean it's only 2 and half days...When you're at SCR, any time spent sleeping is time wasted IMO!

Not true. One year Chad and I were FORCED to stay in the parking lot most of the evening due to the water and humidity running down the walls and window in our room. Several people on our wing had the same problem due to a broken down air conditioner if I recall. The following year the mold smell was overpowering. Go figure..........

Agreed. If you have allergies any time in that room is too much.

close enough that you can get REALLY drunk and still be able to crawl back to your room. It is about 200 yards away.

Go to http://earth.google.com/ register for the free version and then enter "Gateway Center, Collinsville, IL" in the address area. This will give you an airliner view of the building the show is held in (GC) as well as all the hotels in the direct vacinity which are are also labled when it downloads. Holiday Inn is just to the south over the walking bridge and the evening tailgating is held in the parking lot to the west where you see all the semi tractor trailers parked.
