Back in '88 when I had our Chevelle documented, the GM guys didn't seem to know anything about any of the Zxx codes. They just left them out of the documentation. The shipping list showed ZP8, ZV6 and ZN1 for our car. Some of the eagle eyes here have figured out some of them.

about the code ZP2

ZP2 Trim & paint color override : This was used when a car had an exterior/interior color combination that was not normally used.
this is an exterior/interior color cobination
not normally used on a COPO Chevelle ?
Lemans Blue 71 with 791 Parchment intérior trim code
