I've got an L-72. Only two Garnet ZL-1s were made.

There are at least a dozen known Copo Camaros that are Garnet Red, certainly there were many more built.

Indeed Garnet Red was common, but how does one go about documenting how many of any given RPO were this color from the factory?

Can't be documented, only guestimated using the color breakdown by percentages, and then multiplying by the 1000 or so COPOs. Not sure if the 1000 number includes the 198 (or 201) Yenkos, but if it does, then you would take the percentage times 800.
Of course that assumes the ratio of colors across the entire population, which includes grocery getters, is the same as that for muscle cars. Pretty questionable assumption, in my opinion. |

Red seems to be very common but I want to see a 63-63 car.
