Default Re: 69 SS 350 L-48/T-350 VIN & Assy Date LOCATIONS ??

Chuck, a 69 Norwood VIN should be stamped near the oil filter after about Feb/March 69 although the LA built Camaro's should all be on the pad behind the alternator. Vin locations on automatics should be on the drivers side just above the pan rail gasket surface. Assy data is on the aluminum plate mounted to the passenger side with the trans code and assy date from 1-1-69 in numerical order I believe.

A true SS-350 L-48 car would have a 12 bolt, posi (with E under assy date) or non posi, more than likely a 3.08 or 3.31 ratio gearset.
