I've had Jerry M do 3 of my Chevelles and I wouldn't do it any other way. I tried them all, and was always touching up, or completely removing them, sand blasting, re-painting, etc. Since I discovered the re-skinning process, I've never had to redo any of them. I have the smog systems/tubes on the cars, and the last thing I want to do is redo manifolds.
