Nope, just a made up fob. Look at his other auctions.

The seller sold a royal pontiac one a week ago for around 100.00. he will get in trouble all too soon when he keeps coming up with more rare finds.

Are you saying those are all made up? If I bought a bunch of these and planned to sell them I would pick out the obvious good ones to sell first too. There sure are alot of 9.99 ones to be making a hge profit.

The way I heard that the guy selling the key chains bought out what was left from the original person who would supply all the dealerships with these in the early years and these are what was left over when he went out of buisness. I bought the ones he had from Karen Chevrolet I can tell you they were original because my dad worked there and you can tell that the leather they are made out is reall old just were never given out. This is what I can tell from the Karen ones and also the Nickey one that I got from the guy even can see where there are some sm,all cracks even though they look new.

They aren't real. Period. They might be 30 year old leather fobs, but the stuff printed on them was just put there, like yesterday. Look at the one Jeff just posted... Do you people honestly believe that GM put out fobs with the Camaro logo on one side and Central Office Production Order on the other? Oh, and the phone number? 9561 of course. The Nickey, Fred Gibb, Smokey Yunick, Royal Pontiac, etc. ones are just as made up. C'mon people... I know you want them to be real, but they simply aren't. End of story.

I agree with Rick - that style keyholder is not period correct. That style was mid-late fifties.
This is a late fifties Pontiac fob I've had for years. You can see the lack of Zip code ('63) and the
EV prefix on the phone number.
It was originally the same color as the E-bay fobs but I used it for some time. The exposure to grease
and oil darkened it over time.

Thats exactly what I'm saying. If he bought a box of 1000's of blank ones and printed them up, the 9.99 ones are making a profit too.
