A51=Strato Bucket seats
B80=Moldings Drip rail
B90=Moldings Door and Window frame
CO8=Trim Roof Exterior Soft
D55=Console Front Compartment
ZJ1=Interior Custom
ZJ2=Exterior Custom
ZL3=Conversion Super Sport
I think that the ZL3 SS Conversion cars started life as a regular V8 with the ZJ2 package and changed on the Chevrolet assembly line to an SS car. Fisher Body punched or drilled the tailight panel holes and installed the trim panels prior to sliding them into the Chevrolet side for final assembly. I think 70 Chevelles had a similar deal on their converted cars from an SS396 car transformed into a SS454 car. Just a thought. I think FLT=Fleet order. Not sure though.

Close..you had to order a Chevelle before you could get a Super Sport.The ZL-3 conversion was the provisional callout to ready the body for Z-25 396 Super Sport ornamental attire.
It soon became built into the Chevelle Z-15 454 package,making it redundant to list ZL-3.
