You have to be careful. The GM of Canada paperwork just says that serial number such and such has this information and options. No one comes out and says that your car is the real thing. I'm taking a LOT of pictures while doing our car. How else can you tell if a cowl has been welded into a good body to keep the right numbers in tact once the car is done. There are quite a few talented body men out there who can hide a lot, even to a trained eye. I sure wouldn't want to be paying extra for a numbers car these days. The odds of getting one are getting worse every day. Too bad.

Chevelleless after 46 years......but we did find a low mileage, six speed, silver 2005 Corvette. It will just have to do for now.
