thanks guys, thats what i thought also, I have seen many a build sheet in laminate and didn't think he was to good an idea..

get a plastic sleeve for it.i have seen plastic sleeves for documents.there stiff so they will not bend.

If your near a sports card shop, they will have the plastic sleeves too.

You could scan it and then print it on a nice color printer then laminate it.
The quality of scanners and printers these days is pretty impressive. If you dont own a scanner/printer im sure a Kwik Kopy or similar store will do it for a small price and they can probably laminate it too. |

Laminating it would actually be permanent... it would melt the plastic to the build sheet or adhesive it to the build sheet...

The plastic melts into the upper layers of the document. If you remember being 17 and trying to take your driver's license out of the lamination to change the date so you looked older, you will know what I mean. Nowadays all of us are trying to alter them to look younger. ![]() |

You are correct, I tried to take a laminated document apart and does not work, you will destroy the document.

My 68 GTO build sheet was in the floor (of the car) and was in a bunch of pieces and half destroyed...
I used archival illustration board and an archival glue and pieced it back together as best as possible... ![]() The 2 I found in the Lemans parts car I bought were perfect... of course! ![]()
