I'll bet the power brake booster also vanished for less weight while racing.... Unless the article is wrong and calling it a ZL1 when in fact it is a small block camaro... But then the price does not reflect that. I don't think a small black camaro would have cost that kind of money in 69. ![]() Rich

The mods on this race car are in line with the mods done to ZL-1 #65 N643779, Fathom green 4-speed. Sold new at Lavery Chev Alliance, Ohio.
Still around, still in racing trim. One of few ZL-1s with #9737. Someone bought a ZL-1 Camaro new and raced it? What was he thinking?
