No it isn't the car at the auction. There was another thread that I removed because the guy did not price the car after being asked. He came to the site asking questions about Motion Vettes then says he has a car that he is going to sell but the only pics he posts are pics scanned from a old magazine like the one above. Once again he can come back and start a new thread but I would caution people to make sure it is a real car. Current pics would go a long way to proving it is not a scam.

So sorry to hear of your loss and the tragic circumstances necessitating the sale of this car Dale..

Considering the situation, is it possible a new thread can be posted w/ pics again and asking for opinions of what a fair value may be?.

Just a thought from an old timer, pricing a car for sale can also protect the seller from the potential bidding war that results in no sale at all. Time & time again I have seen people jump all over a rare car that "might be for sale" with estimates of what a car like that should bring. An unaware seller gets caught up in the hype, and, goes with the pie in the sky ideas resulting in an asking price that nobody will come close to paying. That fiasco drags on for months, and, even the real potential buyers, someone who will really write a check, lose interest, and, a car that could have been sold quickly at a fair price, takes forever to sell. Now, I will sit back and watch as the estimates roll in on this car. I hope it's real, and, the docs are foolproof. I hope it brings every dollar that is possible. I just don't like the way it has developed, and,in the spirit of full disclosure, I have no interest in buying this car.
