You have been offered 50K more and have not sold it yet!! Me no comprendee

[/ QUOTE ] You cant blame anyone for wanting what everyone else wants price wise, but lets face it,the only place the market is going on a new car is DOWN DOWN DOWN ....Name one car made in the last 20 years that was a good investment regardless of its "limited" production. The 07 500s were 20K over sticker, you can now get a new 08 for right around sticker. Im trying to figure out why chevy deakers arent gouging customers 60K over sticker like the ford delaers have gotten good at. One local dealer took 75[yes 75] $10,000 deposits on a 07 gt500 and didnt even give anyone a sales price , i called and they said the higher i bid the further up the list i moved even though 60 people before me had put up 10K, now thats integrity. They made more money off the interest on the deposit money than they did on the car

...and just to think, back in '69 Fred Gibb couldn't give his low-production super-high performance expensive ZL1 cars away or at least get sticker price...

[/ QUOTE ] Thats because back then gas prices were high and the cars were too expensive, we no longer have those problems in this country

There was a brand new metallic blue with silver stripe KR parked in the Shelby lot yesterday, wasn't a prototype so one KR is built. I ordered a new 2008 GT 500 this week Vapor silver with no stripes and had my Supersnake deposit in last summer. Won't pay the dealer markup for a 540 HP KR it's ridiculous, it's 40 HP more than a stock GT 500 with some suspension tweaks and badges?

Good luck with the 500...thats the way to go,and they are now at sticker price which is a great bargain. The KR is beautiful as well but there is no way i would take a KR at the price of THREE gt500s !!!!! Ive also heard people are having big problems with the LV shop and getting thier cars back, and those that are are having major malfunctions so be careful... In the end the stock 500HP gt500 is alot of car right out of the box
