How do you know it wasnt from Minnesota side of the lake? Rainy River is in Minnesota as is part of Rainy Lake

I can't believe the bigger pike tried to eat the smaller one
 No way it could tear the smaller one apart. They are swollowers, not chewers. On a similar note, I once saw a large mouth bass eat a baby mallard right in front of me. I couldn't believe my eyes Nuch
