I dont think there's much weight difference between an old 318 poly engine and a 440 especially if you throw in a later aluminum torqueflite. 57 and 58 both weigh in around 3500 to 3600 or so. 400 B blocks can be made into 500 inchers too.

The Fury for '58 ran a 350 CI dual 4bbl motor.

well i could,nt get any barn pics (long story) but here it is sitting at home now,I really don,t know anything about these cars but from what everyone tells me they were all rusted out 10 yrs after they were made,This car is super solid all orig floors and trunk,even has all its orig interior in real nice shape thanks to the orig plastic over the seat covers amazing!!!I still have no idea what possed me to buy this thing...

That will make a REALLY COOL LOOKING HOTROD! If you were not so far from me I would be glad to take it off your hands!I have "KILLER 340 STROKER" that would get it moving easily. If it has the 318 engine it is the POLY as they call it and you can do some neat tricks to them! and there are some pretty neat intakes availiable from time to time. I happened to see an intake not long ago for one and it was SIX DUECES which certainly would look COOL under the hood.
