I did not sell it or plan to for a while now. For every 10 people who looked at it 7 thought it was a time capsule and the other 3 thought it was Hideous. Most people loved the paint but everyone hated the interior. So I brought it home and gutted the interior. SHE'S GETTING A MAKEOVER!!! I will post pics of it when im done. Please let me know your thoughts on the finished car!

What happened to all the 70's custom vans? That's the real question.

Most of them were "family starters" , and were traded in shortly for more practical transportation, since they had truck motors that liked gas. The custom van thing was an expensive craze, and went out the same way disco did, quickly and quietly.

Personally I liked the interior in the Chevelle. This is what my 68 Nova had in it when I brought it home in 2001. I wish I had left it in the car... I got the correct bench seat and found a NOS bolt of fabric and now it's 100% original again... Nice but I liked the other just as much. Marlins car would look nice with an overstated interior

THEN...

NOW...
