The 69 woodgrain radio delete has 4 studs coming out the back of it. The one commonly sold as a 69 but is not only has two studs and the woodgrain is glued on. It is actually off a late model Olds or something like that. I have pics of a real one somewhere but can't find them.

Charlie,
What do you mean by studs? Plastic or metal? My plate fits exactly with no modifications or rough edges. It has been in the car for decades. I am certain that if a radio plate from another car was used it would appear different. I would also assume the grain of the rosewood, would not match that of the 1969 stuff. Am I correct? I do not know.
Richard.

In a 69 Camaro Rosewood radio delete plate there are two holes drilled in a standard delete plate. The woodgrain is attached with two metal studs that stick thru those two holes. So if you are looking at it from the back you are actually looking at two studs with nuts and then the two plastic moulded studs with screws. The more common one you usually see being sold as real is a not real one. It has the woodgrain glued on. It looks correct from the front but is really off a later model car. Somewhere I have a pic.
