longshot here maybe, but anyone know of a lemans blue L72 '69 biscayne that was bought out of aurora ont. around '80-'81. supposedly was involved in a shop fire after being sold. don't know if it was saved or???

No idea if this is your car but prior to 1985 since that is when I sold my 66 l-72 biscayne to get married DAAAAAAA( my guess would be 82 or 83) I street raced and weekend strip raced a lemans blue 69 Biscayne l-72 4spd quite a bit.The car was out of Ontario somewhere and the owner worked apparently up there for Atomic Energy of Canada prior to his transfer. It went by the name "Babe" the "Blue OX" but it could not beat the 66.If that is the car the motor and trans eventually found a new home in a Black 67 Camaro, banging off low 12's every run and the big car was eventually crushed.
