I guess that's why it wasn't covered by the media.

[ QUOTE ] I guess that's why it wasn't covered by the me dia. [/ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] Okay, I'll explain it. The writer of the original story complains that it wasn't covered by the media. Snopes says that there is no proof that the story ever happened as written. Therefore, I guess that was the reason it wasn't covered by the media. It didn't happen (as written), therefore the media didn't cover it. It has to happen before the media can either cover it or ignore it. |

Say What? [/ QUOTE ] Okay, last time. Original post: "Ever wonder why good stuff never makes NBC, CBS, PBS, MSNBC, CNN, or ABC news...." (Writer left out FOX.) Snopes: "Claim: Two armed illegal aliens perpetrate a home invasion were killed by an 11-year-old girl. Status: False." and "...confirmation of the tale as a real life incident is lacking." Deduction 1: If it didn't happen then the media cannot cover it. Deduction 2 (abstract): For the media to choose not to cover a particular story the incedent/story still has to happen first. If it didn't happen, the media can neither cover it nor choose to ignore it. |

Guns will be cleaned tonite between 9pm and midnite...all intruders are welcome to enter our target range for practice. If you are an illegal alien please call first for instructions in the language of your homeland....please don't be alarmed by the loud noises....you never hear the one that gets you.

Speaking of John Wayne and Hispanic people: "Wayne's first wife, Josephine Saenz, was the daughter of a Panamanian consul in Los Angeles... Wayne met his second wife, Esperanza Baur Diaz, nicknamed Chata, in Mexico while vacationing there... He met his third wife, Pilar Wildy (born Palette) in Lima, Peru, in 1953, while he was scouting locations for The Alamo... her father was a Peruvian politician."
Okay, so the attractive young females an stay but the rest of'em gotta' go! |

[/ QUOTE ] "It has to happen before the media can either cover it or ignore it" So, if it didn't happen we can't be sure just because they chose not to cover it?This is the first I'm hearing about this theory, it sure makes it easier to read less newspapers knowing I may not be missing what they aren't covering!! ![]() ![]() |
