Default Re: Ignition Lock Cylinder

The lock cylinder has a spring loaded button you have to depress in order for it to release from the column,almost at the point where it meets the steering shaft.
You have to remove the steering wheel and everything else behind it,all the way down to the harness.Remove the harness collar and you should see a flashing slot,(Up & Down),that needs to be cracked.
Crack the casting over it and insert a small sized blunt blade,like a screwdriver or butter knife to depress that button and the cylinder will allow itself to be pulled out.
