Here's a vid of Tom Payne's L-79 drag car that he's just completed. He's fallen in love with it and plans to sell the '64. I've tried to talk him out of it, but this car runs low 13s already and it's not near dialed in yet. This was taken at his restored 1930s shop back in ILL after the convention.

That's original paint and interior on that puppy!

Oh, and I didn't mention the 1930 restored center post floor lift to go with it.

He enjoys his hobby.............and is one of the greatest guys on earth.
