The restoration of this car was simply amazing. The panel fit/finish was dead on. Any cars in its vicinity paled in comparison. Quite a sight to see.

I believe Colin was on it at 200K and it just zoomed up to 400K. For what it bid up to you could own Colin's converted car with a 427.

I think it was along the lines of this L-78 Camaro was delivered brand new to Yenkos lot and supposed to be waiting for a 427 transplant in 1968,(according to Yenko VIN records),but Kenny Ross Chevrolet wanted the car so Don sent it to them as is back then.
It never did get the 427 transplant from the Yenko Mechanics and stayed a 396/375HP car at Kenny Ross Chevrolet. The late Tom Billigen soon bought it brand new from them.. |
