OW!! - E-bay did not update all the starting prices to the actual closing bids - there weren't as many bargains as I thought. I still like that '61 though!
Good luck with your purchases - 1011 had a lot of stuff-are you going to bring them back or??

1011 is a parts car, roof is rusty, frame is rusty, etc, no title so its getting parted. 1018 is a very solid 64 with a posi and stick pedals, and 1030 is a 62 wagon, super rusty with a posi. the 64 is the only one I think I am going to not part. I can't believe they didn't update the auctions...

They were referring everyone to a title washing company in Alabama
ARE YOU KIDDING ME That is the most illegal thing I have ever heard you buy a car with out a title and they tell to get a title wash man talking about getting hosed what happen after you paid
The 23.000 and find out later that the thing was stolen I am so surprised that they even let the guy do this I really thought that not one car would sell with out the title Hell you could get pulled over towing it home and if you do not have a title guess what you just might lose it right there. In the state of Pa it is very illegal to sell a car with out a title
Hell junk yard can not take a car with out a title
As the old say has it there is a sucker born every minute get a title wash ARE YOU KIDDING ME

In the end it looks like Mr Robinson made some money

Norm,
I'm not familiar with Alabama, but next door in Georgia they don't use titles. Walk into Georgia with a bill of sale (which the auction provides) and a VIN and they will issue you a registration for a car. That's all Georgia provides. Now take the same registration with VIN and bill of sale to another state and that state will issue you a clear title. Since that's all Georgia provides, the other states honor that and thus you have a title.

Verne I have always felt that was not an ethical thing to do I do know the pa state police does
Not really except this and to me title washing is a big no no I am mostly amazed
That any cars has been sold I have been told many many times that you can not legally sell a car in pa with out a title but he got away with it
Now why were all the cars there with no titles and keys that should have set off the red flags but I guess people did not get it any way it all done now

I sell and buy project cars without titles all the time. I have used Broadway title for about 50 cars so far and NO problems over the past 15 years.
Norm, you are telling me if some dead beat loses the title to a 69 Camaro Z/28 sitting in his back yard, I don't have the right to go to broadway and get a clear title for it?
The auctioneer had a piece of paper from the PA state police saying they came down and checked all the vin numbers and they were all clean.

Norm He had titles to all those cars but they burned up in the fire he had at his place years ago. thats why there were no titles. State police were there checking all the vins before the sale went on. I think as long as the car is not stolen then why not retitle it.
