The Sebring Yellow W-30 mentioned above is a true bondo buggy.
The car was held together with gallons of bondo and the frame was completely rotted out. It went through the Mecum auction on several occasions and finally sold to a Car broker–Happy Dream Cars for around 60K several years ago. It also had none of its original drive train, although the car did have some paperwork in a binder. The only two Oldsmobiles of significance in the current B-J auction are a 1969 442 W-30 convertible and a 1966 Olds 442 Trac-Pac car. Both cars hit the auction block Saturday along with Warren Johnson’s 1987 Oldsmobile Firenza. |

71 NOM Z for 100K makes about as much sense as the white 67 350 coupe for 90K. Or the red NOM 69 L34 for 110K.
The 71 sits a couple inches too high, which I've noticed on quite a few restored early 2nd gens. Is it that difficult to find the right springs for them?

Dave, There has been no less than THREE thread started at www.nastyz28.com Guys including myself are appalled, outraged, and shocked how this 71 Z-28 could get created with a 72/73 Grill, partial wrong wheels, wrong wheel color, wrong shift knob, wrong steering wheel, etc etc.
The seller has been aledged to have docs created and in this case the buyer fell for it hook, line and sinker, setting a record price all the while. The rear spring situation has been recently discussed on nastyz28. Wish you could restore my $100K 70 R/S Z-28 Chuck I corrected your link you forgot the Z and the end . was part of the link.
