"With all due respect Howard, that car should NEVER be restored. Worst case, the hood, deck lid and rear panel should be repainted in DuPont 99L and the rest of the car should be left as is. This car can still be a rolling encyclopedia for restorers for years to come,.................... in the right hands."
My thoughts exactly. No disrespect Howard,but what you are suggesting to do is like throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Who ever painted them on should be ridiculed for what they did,but don't take it out on the car. |

Was not the Black LS-6 Chevelle brought to B/J by Mark Young(aka The Z-28 factory). Interested to read if anybody challenged MR.Young on the incorrect stripes.
