Thanks Greg and Sam for your quick responses. This was what I was looking for.
Can anyone in New York or who knows how the system worked tell me when a 1970 car would receive an inspection decal? I would assume that you would not have to have your car inspected for at least 1-2 years after purchasing it new. Also, would the month of the inspection be on the anniversary of the original purchase, in other words, same month. I am looking to replace the two in this photograph and am not sure what the decal on the right was for. The one on the left I assume is the State Inspection Decal. Unfortunately, the winshield is long gone. ![]() Thanks again for the help. Rick
