Re: Wounded Warriors Project...
Went to the kick off luncheon yesterday for this great event...over 300 people attended..not counting the school kids. Our local congresswoman Kirsten Gillibrand (D) was there along with Lt. Governor David Patterson (legally blind!)...the big hit was the school kids from the local 2nd and 3rd grade class..they dressed in patriotic fashion and sang God Bless the USA and It's a Grand Olde Flag...there wasn't a dry eye in the joint...I am so proud of Karen for helping to put this event together...we can never do enougn for our wounded warriors.
