Kurt,, if you're interested in selling the cover and it's an original GM/8" timing chain cover that was chromed, I can have it removed. Can you post, or email me a picture? Also how much are you asking with shipping to NJ?

I was just trying to find out if I could get the chrome off to try and save it. Sorry for any confusion. It probably isn't in as good of condition that you would like it anyways. I am adding an attachment of what it looks like. I have not figured out how to get the picture to come up without having to click on the attachment above the post.

Bill I still have the water pump you said you were going to buy.I boxed it up and have it ready to ship.Let me know if you changed you mind.

If it's dated, I need spring of 69.The engine was assembled the end of April, so it would have to be Jan thru mid April 69.
