Bad deal, but understandable. Small businesses in small towns have a tough time and insurance costs eat heavily into the bottom line. Probably much more common than many of us realize.
Tough to look on the bright side when you're dealing with something like this but they DID escape unharmed. I'm betting the community steps up to help them rebuild and keep going. That's small town America at it's best.

Welp, even though the National Weather Service never put us in a watch/warning, they *officially* declared that it was an indeed a tornado that tore up the shop & houses just up the road from us...one of 29 in southern Missouri that evening!
