Glad to see the change. Honda/Yenko should never said in the same breath

Don Yenko actually bought into the Honda franchise in 1981/82, So the history of the Yenko/Honda relationship originates with the man himself, and dates back over 25 years. Yenko also owned Porsche, Audi, and Fiat franchises...

Like it or not, Yenko's name is legitimately associated with alot more than Chevrolets.

And actually, Don did some really cool stuff with the early Civics. I know these were briefly discussed on the site a while back.

My Son, who would love to own a convertible E-Body Mopar but owns several really nice Honda CRX's at this time, flipped when I showed him the Yenko affiliation with the Honda Civics. I dug through the archives and found several magazines with the modified Yenko Honda parts ads in them.

Since he is now a very successful loan officer for Chase, I wouldn't be surprised to see him duplicate one of these some day. Heck...his "show" Rex ended up as a full-on rotisserie job with a 300+ horsepower 4 cylinder under the hood!
