Scott, seems like a fair price if the car is what the seller says it is. The SS Chevelles for 1968 will start with a 138 sequence in the vin.
My friend has one, true SS, numbers matching 396/325 hp, all original sheetmetal, bucket seat, turbo 400 car. Has had engine rebuilt and a color change/repaint. Car is very, very nice. He has been offered 45 thousand for it and turned it down.. If it has the original roll tach in the instrument cluster, that is a very cool option and somewhat rare.. My friend would love to find one of those for his car... Rich
