Here is the original NHRA logo, as seen on early "Membership Manuals" and associated paperwork, after the NHRA was incorporated on March 8 of '51...notice the "Dedicated to Safety" wording is *above* the car:

Here is the revised single coupe decal...notice the "Dedicated to Safety" wording is below the coupe now...used on literature from 1951 through 1962:

Here we see a revised combo sticker, with a later RED & coupe featured...notice the switch from "Dedicated to Safety" to the current "Championship Drag Racing" wording...can be seen on literature from 1974 through 1985:

Here is the now "contemporary" logo...can be seen on liturature as early as 1970, but was used in some event banners in 1969:

[b]A couple variants of the above decals:

I'm not sure exactly *where* this decal falls into place...features a later FED and a coupe with a spolier...I couldn't find this logo on any of my NHRA literature



Another variant, appeared some time in the 1970s I believe...
