guys, thank you for the input, yeah thats what I thought to, that it was a good deal. I will check for rot behind the seat. I like these elcaminos and I'm always a sucker for a car that makes no sense (two seats and no trunk) but the looks of these cars are unbeatable.

-------One thing to remember; If a car is apart there are ALWAYS missing parts. Poll everyone on here who has bought a dis-assembled project and to a person Ill bet they will tell you there were parts missing. Be as through as you can about inventory when you pick it up. With that said, missing pieces that you will be replacing anyway are a good way to get a seller in a more reasonable ballpark pricewise.......Bill S
