You can get a RAIV car for less than $40k, but would be a project car or missing original drivetrain. Check classicalpontiac.com; there's a complete and matching #s one there now for $30's, but, again, it's a project, and not a great color (gold). You can certainly get a gorgeous '70 GTO for $40k; might be able to find a nice RAIII car, too, but don't see those up for sale too often. Good luck, Scott
