Who's brown Z28 was that ? Who restored it ? Very nicely done and the paint body was killer.

I performed the paint and body, the owner John Karvonen did all the drivetrain/suspension/and disassembly and reassembly. I was happy to be a part of that project -no expense was spared, top of the line inside and out top to bottom.

I talked to John for a few minutes Saturday. Actually, he approached me and said he recognized me from the Gibb Show this year. VERY NICE Z! I think he said this was his first restoration. Love the color and unique combo of options. Here's another look at the car.

Pretty cool Sequoia Green '68 Chevelle next to him too. Sorry for the photo quality. I discovered later I had the camera set on night time mode.

Looks like John and Bob did a superb job! I have talked with John on many occasions and I know that even under all the killer outside work the inside, down under and around the corner is just as nice and correctly done. Maybe those boys in the upper peninsula (frozen tundra) of Michigan will start a resto business of their own. Great car John and even a better color. Sam

------I have known John for more than a couple of years now and he is a great young (young to me at least) guy. The hobby will be left in good hands with guys like him coming along. He is about 12 hours from anywhere and that makes the level of his restoration all that much more interesting. I cant wait to see the L78 hes doing now as it will no doubt be an a## kicker!!!!!!!!!........Bill S
