Sign on Fire station says "E. Romero Fire and Hose". did some research and found a Romero Road in West Taos NM.
Looked at the movie again and noticed door logo and stripes are NM State Patrol. Moden NM SP use a black and white. The 66 chev in the movie was beige, anybody from NM remember their State Police units from late 60's
