A hidden VIN might be located under the blower motor on the firewall. I have seen the VIN stamped in this location on all of the cars I've had (69's). Some people have reported not finding one in this location...YMMV.
The frame should have the VIN stamped on top of the drivers side rail approx. 12" forward of the rear mount. HTH, Mike |

Concur with Mike except one point - not all have the VIN stamped on the firewall. If you're worried about it being a rebody, check rivets on VIN, check trim tag, look for evidence of a color change, etc.
