Pointless? Sux? Killed? These are harsh words. How can a highly modified high horsepower motor placed into the engine compartment of the most beautiful American car ever produced be described by words like these? If these cars were always left stock and weren't ever modified by drag racers/road racers, they would have a VERY BORING history. Some seem to forget, "Racing improves the breed!"

I would guess that some of these "new" pro street mid year vettes are former NHRA Modified Production racers from back in the 80's.........
