Thanks Richard, it looks a little more "orangy" in the photo above--the actual color is called Flame Red. That paint hs been on the car since at least the 1970s.

Bart, are you trying to give me a case of "cutter's remorse" or what??? It sure looked neat with the slots but I had to have a gasser-look '55 just once in my life. Had it out today for a quick blast around town and had the 327 up around 4500 a few times working through the gears. A 4.88 Dana 60 is coming soon...
