I'm with you Norm. My cousin grew up here in central Illinois but moved to LA in the early 70s. His home AND GARAGE are built on steel piling due to the severe land conditions,.................... MUD SLIDE AREA!
He lived a little more inland until about fifteen years ago when he bought this place. Since then they've tripled the size of the house and built a nice big garage. Great view overlooking Catalina Island but I keep thinking they're gonna get a much closer look at it one of these days.   Not for me. I'll stay right here and take my chances with tornadoes!
