Any idea what causes this. I had a few of these and all of them went sticky even two that were hung in the basement in a controlled enviroment.I cleaned them as you guys suggest but over time they went back to being sticky especially the black ones.

I have had the same problem in the past with other interior parts, like the Camaro "A" pillar covers.
I cleaned them up with enamal reducer, and the were black, and then wiped them down with Son of a Gun. Mike A |

Maybe a rubbing with Monostat cream would help?.
