Since there are so many real X44 tags on ebay all it would take is to find a cowl induction SS and buy a tag around the same date range. Would many then believe that would be proof the car was real. I think with COPO camaros especially [since iron clad documentation on these cars usually doesnt exist]there is a lot of bending of the rules regarding what is required to document a car. Give me that yellow L89 Canada car anyday

What is with the conspiracy theories??? If the seller knew what he possibly had then the buy it now would not have been what it was.
I'd rather have this Copo at the BIN price than the other car you mentioned. I'm happy to see what appears to be another COPO, which had been lost into obscurity found and identified. If the individual knowledgeable enough to hit the BIN would like to sell this car, please contact me. |

I'd rather have this Copo at the BIN price than the other car you mentioned [/ QUOTE ] That goes without saying so would i,but only because of possible profit i could make and certainly not from a purist standpoint. But now if it was restored and the price was 225K, would you accept the documentation of a drilled hole and a x44 tag as reason for spending 225K oveer a canada docs car. |
