Should a car stand on it's own merit?

My wife chuckles when I'm selling a car. She says that it sounds more like I'm trying to talk the guy out of the car than selling it to him. If there is anything wrong or incorrect, the buyer is going to know to the best of my knowledge. Saying that poor guys don't have a right to have input is a cop out. I bet there are a lot of rich guys that got burned because some poor guy wasn't there to point out problems. If people have problems with your car, explain it. If you can't, you have a problem. The price will be governed accordingly, unless you are able to scam someone. The higher the price, the closer the scrutiny. Get used to it. There are a lot of sharp eyed people out there. I saw these two cars at the Oshawa show and didn't notice the tags at all. A lot of help I would have been.
