Bring back the days when NASCAR stock cars were production based cars that were modified for racing instead of this IROC variant that it's become. I could say the same thing for NHRA Pro Stock cars too. I miss the days when the cars were factory built cars that were modified for racing and many of the racers actually shifted their own gears. The fiberglass replicars that Pro Stockers have become are boring. I prefer to watch Stock and Super Stock.

Chatting with my Hero, Mr. Barnhart today and this exact topic came up. I could watch vintage SS or Junior Stock racing all day.

God I wish I had been at da Grove last weekend.
