I know it's heresy on this board,..but I'm going to say keep the six! It's a nice, original, summer time cruiser. You don't need to win every race,..or any races. You have other cars in your stable for that. But, cruising down main street to the local restaurant with the windows down,.....

Probably far fewer 6-cyl SS cars than 409 cars nowadays. Leave it alone!

Tony no real rust to speak of just dusty,was purchased new about 15 miles from my home at bill johnson chev in jan 64 by orig owner who was just put in a nursing home last week.She never married and kept the car like her baby till she no longer could care for it or herself, as for keeping it??probally not as iam not a impala guy but who knows i kinda would like to see how a 409 impala ran in its day .I have been really lucky the past few years with finding several 1 owner survivor cars and have picked up a 1 owner 62 vette and 72 rallye nova just within the last 2 months so somthing will probally have to go....
