I've heard them called "coffee-can mufflers" and that just doesn't provide the proper amount of disdain and denegration that the term "fart-pipe" does. I also call them "fart cars" and my kids just crack up. I love my WRX STi but FART PIPES SUCK. (Bumpersticker idea anyone?)
