It is a 68 - has fiberglass fenders, right hood & scoop, mirror delete appears to have a crossram - it is hard to tell from a photo but it sure looks like a Hemi S/S. Interesting to note that the scoop has only one support - they came with two - the only other car I have seen with one is the original "Mule" car - but I don't think that this is it - hmmmm stumped me agian, any idea where and when this photo was taken? Is any of the lettering readable in your photo? I am interested in this car as I have never seen it. Thanks,
Mark J

This shot was taken at Islip Speedway, an 1/8 mile track that was located on Long Island, in '69 or '70.
I would have to find the slide to tell you exactly. If you need to know I'll track it down.
I remember the car as being from Queens - the door say's Jerry's Automotive with a Woodhaven Blvd,
Rego Park address.
It looks like the quarter panel says Colonial Auto Body with a Rockaway Blvd address,
which would put it in the same general area.
